When the going gets though, the though get going. I love this phrase, it always made sense to me. When life gets you down, you have to pick yourself back up again. Struggling with mental health is 1 step forwards 2 steps back. But you have to keep pushing to get yourself through this. “Time doesn't heal. It’s what you do with the time. Healing is possible when we choose to take responsibility, when we choose to take risks, and finally, when we choose to release the wound, to let go of the past or the grief.”

What is Perseverance?

Perseverance means “not giving up” or “hanging in there" until you get where you want to go or be. It could be a burdensome task or assignment. In my case, Perseverance means not giving up and being stubborn enough to do the things necessary for my recovery. To keep at it, In my times of hardship, even when everything appears beyond all hope.

Who can determine you have PTSD?

A person must have some if not all of these: at least one re-experiencing symptom, three avoidance symptoms, two detrimental changes in mood or cognition, and at least two hyperarousal symptoms for at least one month, in order to be diagnosed with PTSD. The individual's capacity to carry out daily tasks must be hampered by these symptoms.

What does procrastination mean? I don’t know, ask me later.

Procrastination is the act of delaying or postponing something excessively and voluntarily, although knowing that it might have bad consequences. The name comes from Latin meaning "ahead," and "of tomorrow." It is frequently a habitual human behavior. It's a frequent human experience to put off mundane duties or even important tasks. Although it is commonly related with sadness, low self-esteem, shame, and feelings of inadequacy, it can also be a prudent response to some demands that may provide risky or undesirable results or necessitate waiting for fresh information.

When can terror be used instead of panic?

The meanings of terror and panic largely overlap; however, terror implies the most extreme degree of fear. That makes me think I should start describing my panic attacks as actual terror attacks, not to be confused with terrorist attacks of course.
